Who we are

What we collect

We only collect the information you give us:

• Name, email, phone number and enquiry details when you contact us.
• Name, email, car and number plate when you register for one of our events.
• Email address when you sign in to administer the site (staff only).

How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, arrange a viewing or sale.
• To confirm your event registration and send reminders about that event.
• To keep records for legitimate business, warranty and legal purposes.

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for marketing lists or newsletters.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run the site and send transactional emails (hosting, database and email delivery). They only process your data on our instructions and under contract. We may share information with HMRC, DVLA or other authorities where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiry and event data is kept only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, and no longer than our statutory record-keeping obligations require.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Email us at sales@v8world.co.uk and we'll respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
